Pete Sepenuk has been doing voices since he was seven years old, and is one of the entertainment industry’s leading voice-over artists, heard everywhere from features to television shows, commercials to animation, trailers to infomercials, and video games to live announcing. He has literally voiced thousands of TV promos and thousands of toy commercials, and has been the voice of several national ad campaigns.

He began his voice over career in 1995, when he was directing and producing spots for Mattel Toys, voicing spots for HOT WHEELS and many others. Everything changed in 1998 when he met animation legend and director, Sue Blu, who became his mentor and changed his life. Five weeks into taking her six week class, she put him on the animated TV series GODZILLA, produced his first VO demo, and introduced him to Jeff Danis, head voice over agent at ICM, one of the top VO agencies at the time, and Pete became a client.

In early 2000, Pete signed with the William Morris Agency (now William Morris Endeavor) and head voice over agent Erik Seastrand, where things really took off. He was on the animated web series HEAVEN with Kato Kaelin, the popular DVD movie series ANGELS WARS, and for almost four years was the voice behind the award winning “What You Crave” campaign for White Castle.

In 2001, Pete was the voice of the aliens in the Budweiser Whassup? commercial, “Come Home”, that premiered on Super Bowl XXXV, which became one of the most well known spots in television history, and was featured on several TV specials, including SUPER BOWL’S GREATEST COMMERCIALS. Later the same year, FOX TV’s syndication arm Twentieth Television hired Pete to do all the promos for the court show TEXAS JUSTICE and EX-treme DATING, hosted by Jillian Barberie.

Pete started doing promos for Fox Sports, and did all the promos and was voice for the talk shows THE SHARON OSBOURNE SHOW for the WB and THE GREG BEHRENDT SHOW for Sony. He also was the voice for the WB’s STEVE HARVEY’S BIG TIME, and did all the promos for AMERICAN IDOL REWIND. He also began doing infomericals like the P90X, Slim in Six, Turbo Jam and Marilu Henner’s Body Victory. Pete was also on the very well known Reebok campaign for “Terry Tate, Office Linebacker”.

Currently, Pete is heard several times daily in syndication voicing all the TV promos for THE ARSENIO HALL SHOW, WHITE COLLAR, JUDGE ALEX (now in its 9th season) and THE UNIT, as well as promos for RAISING HOPE, BURN NOTICE and THE KING OF QUEENS, while also on toy commercials for Disney, Mattel, and Spin Master, like THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, Hot Wheels, CARS, Air Hogs and Bakugan.

In addition to JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE, you can also hear him narrating the TV shows ON THE SPOT for The CW, THIS VS THAT, MY RIDE RULES on the Speed Channel, and ANIMAL INTERVENTION on National Geographic Wild. Pete is also the voice on the infomercials for JILLIAN MICHAELS BODY REVOLUTION and RICHARD SIMMONS PROJECT HOPE, and online you can hear Pete and Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs) on all of Ford’s 2013 F-150 spots.

He was also featured in ABC Family’s Christmas movie THE MISTLE TONES with Tori Spelling, and is the voice of “Gabe” in the recent family feature film, GABE THE CUPID DOG. Pete also voiced animated characters in THE LAND BEFORE TIME films and TV series, and MTV’s INVINCIBLE, based on the comic book created by Robert Kirkman (THE WALKING DEAD). Pete has also developed a cult following from his characters on the popular anime shows NARUTO and Cartoon Network’s BLEACH.

Pete also plays several characters in the two biggest online video games in the world, EVERQUEST and WORLD OF WARCRAFT, as well as the games SAINTS ROW and PITFALL, and recently voiced roles in the hit CapCom game DRAGON’S DOGMA.

In 1994, Pete helped start HOLLWOOD HEART, a nonprofit organization that opens doors for teens and young adults affected by HIV/AIDS and other at-risk youth through its educational arts opportunities and annual summer camp. Since 1995, literally thousands of children from the U.S. and all over the world have benefitted from these amazing programs.

In 2011, to celebrate its 150-year anniversary, Pete was named one of the Top 150 Faces of Chapman University, which is a Hall of Fame comprised of 150 select recipients “whose talents, accomplishments, leadership and support have made a difference to the university and the world”.

In 2012, Pete recorded the track LABELS with Heidi Swedberg (Susan from SEINFELD) for the album, ALL ABOUT BULLIES – BIG AND SMALL, which won the GRAMMY for Best Children’s Album.

Coming in 2014, Pete is starring in the animated 3D feature LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY’S RETURN and voices several characters in THE LEGO HERO FACTORY.
